UI Design for Minnesota Banks
A dual web project for two banks under the same ownership — Grand Rapids State Bank and Minnesota Lakes Bank. The challenge was building two distinct visual identities on a shared component structure. I designed the full page layouts in Figma, establishing color styles, typography, and components for each brand, then handed off to development. GRSB is rooted in the forested, rocky terrain of its region — green, orange, earthy. Minnesota Lakes Bank leans into its waterfront setting — blue, open, lake-forward imagery and video. Both were designed to modernize the brands and attract younger demographics without touching the original logos.
